Up for sale is a beautiful example of a well pampered and open checkbook maintained two-owner freshwater used only 28 Carolina classic offshore fishing boat that is fully rigged and ready for fishing adventures with her future owner. The boat originated out of Southeast Michigan with her first owner and I acquired it in (2005) and drove her home on Lake Erie back to Catawba Island, Ohio where she has resided since. Every year since she was new the boat has been stored indoors in Heated storage and receives yearly maintenance by my local service center including oil changes, fuel filters, batteries (changed every 3 years) and the following additional items have been recently upgraded: New isenglass front and side window enclosures (January 2020) Full hullside, top deck and cockpit freshly buffed and waxed (January 2020) Complete bottom re-paint VC Offshore (January 2020) Fuel pump and filters replaced (fall haul out 2019) Brand new OEM Fiberglass mufflers replaced (Summer 2018 $1,000 per muffler plus labor) Transmission filters and hoses replaced (Spring 2018) Water intake hoses and trim tab hoses replaced (Spring 2018) Complete engine tune ups Fish box hoses replaced New Lewmar windlass, Anchor, rode and bow pulpit added (Fall 2017) All cockpit vinyl seats and coaming panels redone Lowrance HDS 9 touch chartplotter/GPS and sonar with side/down scan. She is powered by twin Volvo Penta 7.4L MPI (330 HP each) with 1350 hours on the hour meter *Please note that the majority of these hours are from trolling and idling and I am in the process of having my service center performing engine scans to provide the hour readout. She has direct drive Hurth ZF Transmissions and newly labbed Hy-Tork propellers. The boat also has 30A shore power, Raytheon RL 70C Radar, Lowrance HDS 9” GPS/ fishfinder with sidescan and downscan sonar, Lowrance LCX 38 HD Chartplotter and DF Sonar {Redundant System), All systems networked together, Raymarine auto pilot, Lowrance fuel flow meters, fish hawk down temp/speed unit for down rigging, VHF radio, compass, GPS, CD player with cockpit speakers, vacuflush head w/ holding tank, concealed head w/ shower, cabin refrigerator, microwave, on board water heater, V berth lounge lounge w/filler cushions, cabin dinette table, cabin overhead rod holders, rocket launcher rod holders, extended swim platform with boarding ladder, cockpit lighting, aft spreader lights, fresh water and raw water washdown, hydraulic engine hatch, aluminum radar arch w/ rocket launcher rod holders, gunnel rod holders, additional rod storage under gunwale, Bert’s tackle track system for rod holders and downriggers, tackle drawer storage. All owners manuals, documents and spare parts are included with the boat purchase and there are spare propellers (tuned and balanced), 4 Captain’s Pak Big Jon downriggers and equipment are available at an additional price.
