1971 Catalina 27 for Sale

I'm selling my 1971 Catalina 27' sailboat since I no longer have the ability to sail it. It needs someone who will sail her. During these challenging times sailing is a good way to be active and away from crowds. The Catalina 27's are classic sailboats that are loved by sailors for their easy handling (even by 1 person), as well as for their efficient cabin layout and functional design. Everything is in good condition; such as: standing rigging, running rigging, head with holding tank (Jabsco toilet, 2012), roller furler a $2000 value alone (Snapfurl CF-700, 2012), the galley and stove are in good working condition, as well. Recent upgrades include: bilge pump and the electrical line was converted from 15 amp to 30 amp to be compatible with the marina's dock power (2015). The Volvo Penta inboard motor hasn't been operational for years (last overhaul & refurbished in 2000), and unfortunately the outboard needs to be repaired or replaced. A buyer will have to have their own outboard to power out of the marina, or be towed to open waters. If I bought a used one it likely won't be the one you'd want, so I'll let the new owner deal with it. The current slip is available for rent from the Oyster Point Marina in So. SF. The latest survey valued the boat at $5000, I'm willing to part with her for less. The hull hasn't been cleaned in 2 years, whereby recently power washed her top side.
