1985 Mako 284 Cc Cuddy Cabin for Sale

I purchased this 1985 Mako about two and a half years ago from a close friend. He purchased this boat in NJ back in 2000 and put 2 new 225 hp Mercurys on it back in 2000. He then sent the boat to his Florida home where it sat on a lift and was used approximately one to two weeks out of the Year by him only. The motors have very little use and run great. I've had it professionally serviced by a local Mercury dealer in Key Largo. The mercury dealer just repaired one of the ignition switches. I asked him to see how many hours were on the motors. One motor has 199 hours on it the other has 200 hours. This is a Mako 284 model. It is 28 ft 5 inches in length and has a 9-foot 10 beam. I go out of Adams cut in Key Largo I had the sunshade hinged so I can get underneath the bridge. The only reason I'm even thinking of selling the boat is I do not use the second station and I would rather just get a center console with a T-top just to make it easier for me when we come down to use the boat on our limited time. We live in New Jersey I get to come down to the boat every maybe two to four months and only come for approximately 4 days each visit. My wife and I absolutely love the wide beam and how much room is on this boat and the convenience of the cuddy cabin.
