Snug, our Willard 30 Mark IV, a flybridge trawler was designed, engineered and built for economical cruising for two to four people. Lovingly maintained and improved since we bought her in 2001. Snug is powered by a 60 hp Perkins diesel with ease of maintenance, high reliability and economy as prime design. Cruising at 6 knots Snug sips fuel at less than 3/4 a gallon per hour. Catalina trips burn only 8 gallons for round trip from Huntington Harbor. Comfy V berth forward with pull out double in salon. Table and L-shaped setee surrounded by large windows for clear views. Galley with stove, microwave and double sink conveniently located in a starboard aft location. Interior glows with warm mahogany for comfort and charm. Flybridge set up for comfortable cruising but also inside steering and controls for all weather crusing. Specification: 60 hp Perkins four cylindar, non-trubo diesel for reliability and economical cruising. 150 gallon tank capacity for over 1,000 mile range. 100 gallon fiberglass tank. 40 gallon holding tank. All window changed from original plexiglass to marine glass with aluminum frames. Ports changed from plastic to bronze for safety and durability. Cushions for cockpit and flybridge. Bridge cover.
