1989 Catalina 30 Tall Rig

This well maintained boat is the popular tall rig / shoal draft wing keel which is great for both daysailing and cruising. Its draft is only 3'-10" and displaces 10.300 lbs. with 4300 lbs. of ballast. With almost an 11' beam, it is very roomy for a 30' sailboat. The boat has been used and enjoyed by the owner for several seasons. It is an easy boat to handle, an ideal size for a couple, and spacious enough for small family to enjoy some quality time on the water. Time has come for the owner to sell due to age and health reasons. It comes with all the basic equipment for comfortable cruising, and It is well outfitted with galley equipment. A custom built bimini was added in 2012 to provide lots of shade while sailing. A bimini to dodger connector expands the shade and provides rain protection if needed while relaxing in the cockpit. Owner has strived to keep this boat in great condition since purchasing in 2007. Upgrades and maintenance items have been accomplished as needed over the years. Winter storage and major maintenance items have been accomplished by Mystic Shipyard and maintenance records are available. Most recently all the standing rigging, the sea water heat exchanger, the domestic hot water heater, and all coolant hoses were replaced. A detailed list of maintenance items over the years will be provided on request to prospective buyers. Some documentation of the previous two owners is also available. An 8' inflatable dinghy (2017) and a 2.3 hp outboard (2015) are not included in boat price, but are availble for a separate sale to prospective buyers.
