Cabo has just recently had a 2000 hour
engine service, over $20,000 by certified
Cat mechanics.
Great fishing boat, great fuel
economy, owner is moving and must
sell.

SHIPBOARD AMENITIES
LAYOUT:The 31’ Cabo Express Sportfish
has been in production from 1995 to 2004
and is equipped with the following.
TOWER
The tower is constructed of
anodized aluminum and is equipped with a
full helm, and a bench seat. (Hole in
upholstery on bench seat
HELM:The Bridge is equipped with a
helm and a double bench captain’s chair,
with a double bench seat on port. The
windshield is equipped with wipers and a
center vent. (Non operational). The
bridge is covered by a hard fiberglass
top supported by aluminum tubing and is
equipped with a full enclosure.
COCKPIT:
The cockpit is equipped 4 rod
holders in the caprail, a bait well
mounted on center aft, and transom door
on starboard.
SALON:The salon is composed of a
galley on the port side and head on the
port side and a berth forward. The salon
is also equipped with a fold down berth
on the starboard side
FORWARD BERTH:The forward berth is
located forward in the salon and contains
one berth with storage beneath
GALLEY AND COOKING SYSTEMS:The
galley is located in the salon on the
portside and is equipped with the
following:
Sink: Round stainless steel.
Refrigerator: Norcold DE441 mounted
under galley counter.
Stove: Kenyon single burner
electric.
Microwave: Panasonic mounted in the
galley cabinets.
HEAD:The vessel is equipped with
one head the located on the port side and
contains a 12 volt toilet molded in
composite sink and an over the toilet
shower.
The Deep-V hull with 17.5 degree dead
rise, construction is molded fiberglass
reinforced polyester
resin with balsa cored hull sides
and a white gelcoat finish in good
condition. The decks are
constructed of molded FRP with
molded in nonskid finish. Superstructure
consists of molded
fiberglass with a gelcoat finish.
The exterior finish is in good condition.
The hull to deck joint and rub
rail appear to be in good
condition. The cabin interior appears
clean bulkheads are plywood and
fiberglass. The deck hardware and
mooring arrangement appear sufficient for
the vessel. The bow
rail is 1 1â„4†aluminum tubing.
The vessel was sounded and
inspected for signs of damage and
delamination none were found. The bottom
was painted with blue
antifouling paint in good
condition. The thru hulls, seacocks and
strainers are bronze in good
condition (the main engines,
aircondtioner, and overboard discharge
seacocks are frozen). The ruder
packing glands are bronze in good
condition.

ENGINES AND MACHINERY CONT:
Cooling System: Fresh water cooled
with temp gauges and alarms at helm.
Engine alarms: Oil Pressure and
high temp (not proven).
Engine mounts: The engine mounts
are bolted to longitudal stringers and
are adjustable.
Engine instrumentation: Gauges for
engine temperature, oil pressure, volts,
and tachometers with hour meters.
Engine controls: Morse duel lever
mounted at upper and lower helms.
Engine room Ventilation: Two 12
volt blowers and induction vents port and
starboard.
Exhaust systems: Wet rubber hose to
fiberglass muffler and out the stern.
Steering System: Hydraulic type
with a custom SS wheel. (Hydraulic tank
gauge was reading zero)
Fuel lines: Approved type A-1 and
the system appears to be in compliance
with standards (crimped fuel lines port
and starboard.

The generator is mounted aft on
center in the engine room.
Fuel System:
The fuel system consists of one 350
gallon aluminum tank mounted forward of
the engines with a deck fill and vent on
the starboard side labeled “DIESELâ€. The
filters are Racor 900FG each engine, and
a Racor R12P for the generator. Fuel
lines are USCG approved and in compliance
with ABYC standards.
Sanitation System:
The system consists of one 12 volt
toilet with an apoximitly 25 gal plastic
holding tank .
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS:
The DC system is 12 volt and
consists of three group 31 batteries for
generator, main engines, and ships
service. The DC system is protected by
individual system breakers on the panel
in the salon and in the engine room. The
system is charged by engine driven
alternators or by a Phase Three marine
charger when connected to shore power and
is in compliance with ABYC standards.
DC switches at the helm
The AC system is 120 volts and
consists of one 30 amp shore power cable
with connections in the cockpit (securing
ring on shore power cable cracked).
FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS
1 each 1A 10 BC mounted in galley.
1 each 1A 10 BC stowed in engine
room.
The fixed fire system is a Fireboy
CG2-370 mounted in the engine room.
GROUND TACKLE
The anchor is a plow type stowed on
a fiberglass pulpit and attached to
approximately 25’ of chain and 150’ rode.
The vessel is equipped with a Lewmar
anchor windlass with controls at the
helm.
AIR CONDITIONER AND VENTILLATION:
The system consists of one Cruisair
10,000 Btu unit with controls mounted in
the salon.
