I bought this boat after reading all
of the good reviews / threads in 2016) It
has never let me down, but it is time to
go bigger.
Trim tabs, Lowrance HDS10, Over-sized
T top that was custom made by Quality T
top, Extra Wide Beam, great storage. JL
Audio Speakers with Bluetooth Fusion head
unit.
I am the 2nd owner of this boat and it
was kept in dry storage (1st owner) &
under the roof on my dock for the
remaining last 3.5 years. Boat has just
been detailed, compounded, waxed and is
water ready. Legendary hull that is the
best riding bay boat I have ever been on.
The only other boat in this price range
in my opinion that compares is the
everglades 243. I love Pathfinder and
have fished the 22 & 24 and this boat
blows them away in ride. The square bow
area layout is really great. The amount
of usable deck space & storage is
really great. Feels like a much larger
boat as there are almost no obstructions
on the deck. Very stable on the drift
with extra wide beam. The boat is heavy
for a bay boat and that makes it ride
really well in a 2' chop. Don't be fooled
the extra wide beam helps it to get in
real skinny water. 2 big livewells in the
stern of boat. (I never fill both up).
Huge cast net / bucket storage hatch in
deck bottom of boat.
Engine has about 750 +/- hours. (I
replaced the tachometer about 2 years
ago) Can hook engine up to certified
Yamaha computer for reading on exact
hours. Yamaha engines are the
best.....this is the 2nd boat I have
owned and put over 500 hours on with zero
engine issues. Maintenance is been
completed every yr or every 100 hours
(usually about 6 -8 months). Note: I had
the engine checked for exhaust /
corrosion issues prior to purchasing it
3.5 years ago and the same mechanic does
all of our maintenance. No issues (see
youtube video of engine running
below.
Top Speed is about 42-45 MPH. If it is
rough out...... trim tabs all down and
28-30 mph will go through solid 2 foot
waves like a champ around 4000 rpm.
.....however the boat likes to run fast.
Every hull is different but this boat
feels best around 35- 38 mph running
about 4500-4800 RPM.
If you are looking for a speed
demon boat to run 55-60 in between spots
this is not your boat. However if you are
looking for a very comfortable ride at
normal cruising speeds this is a really
good option. Come take a look. Gets over
2 mpg probably closer to about 2.5
Comes with Loadmaster Trailer that is
in good shape. It has disc brakes....but
they are not working. I have not fixed
them because I hate brakes on a trailer
(not a big $$ item). This trailer was
made specific for this boat from the
previous owner and is well balanced. Full
size spare included. Trailers well with
annual trips to the florida keys for
lobstering and Homosassa for
scalloping.
Please no Brokers, no joy rides. Water
test available with small deposit as we
live on the river and boat will either be
on the lift or on trailer with ramp .5
miles away. Located in Ruskin Florida

The Bay Bolt is the only bay boat with
a Kevlar-reinforced hull. It's the only
bay boat with a one-piece stringer system
fused to the deck and hull.
