2004 Chaparral Signature 270

This is 2004 Signature 270 Cruiser with powerful Twin Volvo 4.3 GXI EFI motors boasting 220 hp each and equiped with Duo prop outdrives (stainless props). Chaparrals wide-body Extended V-Plane running surface is predictable and true in a wide variety of water conditions. The elongated bottom design also pays off inside the 270 with added headroom, legroom and storage space, I am 6'2" and no problem standing up in the cabin. Access to minor services are easy via a one-piece hinged engine compartment that is well supported. The bilge area is gelcoated for easy clean up and features loom-wrap wiring and extra storage. To help reduce glare, the helm is champagne color coordinated instead of stark white which creates added glare. Aluminum dash panels wont warp like plastic. This boat spent the first ten years of its life in a high and dry marina setting and was kept in a building for those ten years when not in use. When I purchased the boat it only had 160 hours on it in ten years. It had not spent overnight in water in those ten years. The boat was pristine and the microwave and refrigerator still had their original paperwork packets inside. The shore power cable was still encased in its plastic cover and unused. I have had it for five years and have had it professionally detailed each year at the beginning of the season.
