1984 Maxi Mixer

Up for grabs and ready to cruise is a this beautiful fractional rig Maxi Mixer 35' Sailboat designed by Swedish Olympic sailer, Pelle Petereson. This fine vessel has spent a great deal of its life here in Galveston bay and has been apart of sailing and adventure memories of my family for over 20 years. She is quick and easy to start sailing with roller furling jib and "lazy jacks" on the mainsail. The Volvo DB7B 18HP diesel motor has never failed us and provides excellent trust ability to motor into the the wind and through the channel to the bay. It is quiet and reliable and is mated to a folding prop for better performance while sailing. We just had the zinc replaced and the bottom repainted with the best bottom paint on the market done by Tom at Waterline Works. In the cabin, she will sleep 6, and there is one head. Colorscreen Garmin GPS will keep you on course and in the know. Marine stereo keeps the island jams going. The full batten main and 135% jib are in good shape. Spinnaker and working jib are also in good shape as well and not used much. Included with the boat is a dehumidifier which we run while not in use. All lines, fenders, electric cord, winch handles etc are included with the vessel. It is currently slipped in Seabrook Shipyard. As life changes, you need different boats....Cheers!!
