1997 Sea Ray 330 Sundancer
This boat is
BEAUTIFUL
! It's the perfect size to
keep up with the "Big Guys" and well
equipped to have the comforts of home
without breaking the bank.
<300 Hours on original motors. This
boat is well kept and ready to go! It's
been used in the Connecticut River
(Glastonbury area in central Connecticut)
for the last ten years, and even though
we
LOVE the boat, it's not getting
the use it deserves due to us having full
time jobs along with a 5 year old
boy.
The boat was steam cleaned head to toe
(canvas, curtains, upholstry, carpets) at
the beginning of last season, and the
boat was completly detailed as well in
the beginning of last season. The boat
was only taken out once last year, but
needs a good cleaning at the moment. I
will hopefully get there soon to clean it
myself, or perhaps get it detailed again.
The boat was bottom painted last year and
has been bottom painted at least once
every 1.5 years by us and its previous
owner.
It has a
Westerbeke 6.5 generator
which was used about 3 times a month
during the season (for about 1-3 hours
each time). The generator runs the air
conditioning in the cabin and the AC
outlets when not on shore
power.
Garmin color GPS unit (Garmin
GPSMAP 232), updated to include
entire northeast, but also have card for
South East and Gulf of Mexico.
The boat also has a
vacuflush toilet,
a
transom shower, sink on the deck,
24" SmartTv and cable
hookups.
Galley Refrigerator, microwave, 2
burner electric stove.
Lofran's Progress One
Windlass. There was an ice
maker/freezer in the deck entertaining
area, but it just wasn't keeping cold
anymore so we removed it. Currently we
use that area for storage, but another
fridge, or
ice maker can
be easily placed in that spot. That area
will support an AC appliance (regular
house electrical plug) so you can buy a
mini fridge for under $130 if desired. (I
have the dimensions if needed).
The
canvas is in good
condition and only about 4 years old. It
was removed and sent to a professional
over the winter who cleaned it and
repaired any missing/loose velcro/zippers
and lubricated all the fasteners. The
canvas was also treated with waterproofer
specific to marine canvas.
We replaced the stereo last year, with
a
Kenwood marine
radio, which has
Bluetooth for phone (with mic
included) and audio along
with
satellite radio.
It has a large V-Berth sleeping
area, where two adults fit comfortably.
There is an "aft cabin" which is similar
in size to a queen size bed. The Dinette
area also converts into a "full" size
bed. I would say 5 adults could
comfortably sleep in the cabin, (2 in the
v berth, two in aft cabin, and one in the
dinette area.) even though "Sea Ray" says
6. We actually set up a "pack n play" for
our son when he was smaller right in
front of the sink and it fits perfectly,
even with the dinette converted into the
bed.
The cockpit table "dining" also has
filler cushions for a sun pad area ...
oddly shaped but would possibly sleep 3
adults. (This is obviously in the
"outdoor" area of the boat), but with the
canvas on, it feels like indoors. We also
have the sun pad cushion that sits on the
front of the boat, in case you wanted to
catch some rays!
Power Helm Seat, Cockpit Heat/Defrost,
Newer Snap-in Snap-out Cockpit Carpeting,
Power hatch, central AC,
In the past two years we replaced the
starter on the starboard motor, and have
not had issues since.
Right now the boat is on land and
shrink wrapped.
