2000 Sea Ray 410 Express Cruiser
If the boating life is to be a higher
expression of luxury and performance,
then the Sea Ray 410 Express Cruiser is
the way to achieve it. Designed for those
who want superb handling in big water.
Buckeye has the larger 450 horsepower
Cummins diesel inboards which are
positioned farther forward to allow for
straight shafts. This creates more room
in the engine compartment and makes for a
very spacious cockpit. With its wider beam
and contemporary deck design, Buckeye
features a seamless fiberglass sport
spoiler and an ergonomic dash.
Topside, the 410 Express Cruiser
provides a large cockpit area as well as
wide walkways to the foredeck. The
forward cockpit sole lifts electrically
for easy engine access, and the helm seat
has a flip-up bolster, so the captain can
navigate standing up. This cockpit
includes a recessed wet bar, designated
storage for the cockpit table, a
refrigerator, plenty of seating with aft
and forward-facing bench seats and
considerable storage space. The aft
transom wall has its own storage
compartment for docking equipment. For
those who prefer the action of deep-sea
fishing, the transom also contains a live
baitwell and fish box. The swim platform
creates ample room and easy water access
for diving.
The signature attribute of Sea Ray
cruisers over the past 20 years has been
bold, cutting-edge styling. That was
certainly on display in 2000 when Sea Ray
introduced its new 410 Express Cruiser,
an executive-class sport yacht with as
much sex appeal as any of the European
imports. Buckeye is an exceptionally
clean and well-maintained vessel that her
meticulous owner has taken great pride
in. Now it's your turn to enjoy all that
she has to offer. It will be compared to
boats that will have considerable costs
associated with obtaining the safety and
security associated with the many updates
already identified and in place here.
Built on a fully cored hull with a
wide beam, the 410's two-stateroom
floorplan provides luxurious
accommodations for six. The forward
stateroom has a full-size pedestal bed as
well as private head access, and a
circular pocket door closes off the
starboard sitting room, converting it
into a private stateroom with twin bunks.
The fully-equipped galley features a
recessed stove and sink with Corian® lids
that create more usable workspace on the
counters. High-gloss Vitricor® Interior
Wood Package (Clear Maple), faux granite
countertops, and decorator fabrics
highlight the interior.
Additional features include a cockpit
wet bar, foredeck sun pad, transom
storage locker, and underwater and side
exhausts. Among several engine options,
450hp Cummins diesels cruise in the
mid-20s (28-30 knots top).
