| The first Island Hopper was built in Marathon, the heart of the Keys, for the demanding lobster industry over 28 years ago. The goal was to build a durable vessel, for the open ocean, at a reasonable cost that would deliver years of trouble free service. They earned the reputation that quality and strength come first in the building of these boats.
