2005 Luhrs 28 Open Express

Selling our 2005 Luhrs 28 Open Express. She has killed a TON of fish since becoming part of our family, and now it's time for someone else to enjoy her as much as we have. Powered by twin Yanmar 240 turbo diesels, she cruises comfortably at 22 knots, wot is 27 knots. Port engine newly rebuilt with just 5 hours, starboard engine has 2400 hours. Both run strong and flawlessly. Sleeps 4 with invidual bunks, private head and shower. Kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave, plug-in outlets, and storage cubbies. Air conditioning and flat-screen TV make it a home away from home. Also has 5kw generator, runs perfectly. Covered, cushioned seating for 6 in helm area. Extra tackle storage under captains seat and storage port and starboard cockpit. Full tower with controls for spotting tuna and kelp paddies. 80 gallon west coast bait tank, ample rod holders, swim step for easy swim up access. We've spent many weekends at Catalina and San Clemente Island fishing and diving. She's plenty comfortable for a family to cruise the coast, and rugged enough for the hardcore fisherman to crush bluefin offshore. Available for showing during the day most days.
